Dr. Randy Danielsen is the Director of the Doctor of Medical Science (DMS) Program at A.T. Still University, where he has served since 1995 in a variety of academic and administrative leadership roles. A graduate of the University of Utah MEDEX PA Program, he holds a BS in Health Science (cum laude), a Master's in PA Studies from the University of Nebraska, and a Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Arts & Sciences from the Union Institute & University.

Dr. Danielsen has served on the boards of the American Academy of Physician Associates (AAPA) and the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), and has held leadership roles at the state and national level throughout his career. A retired Lieutenant Colonel with 28 years of combined service in the US Air Force and Army National Guard, he has received numerous honors, including the AAPA Outstanding PA of the Year, the Eugene A. Stead Award of Achievement — the Academy's most prestigious lifetime recognition — and an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters from Nova Southeastern University. In February 2026, he was honored by the Arizona State Association of PAs with their Lifetime Achievement Award.
